STORY
Welcome to an incredible adventure!

Holomonsters have been with us since the dawn of time, serving as guardians of our precious Earth and the life it sustains. Each Holomonster possesses unique powers, but they all share one extraordinary ability: the power to travel through dimensions as holograms. This makes them nearly impossible to detect with the human eye!

We’ve only caught glimpses of their presence through the mysterious phenomena they cause in our world. Have you ever felt a sudden breeze on a calm day or experienced the raw power of an earthquake? These events are the handiwork of Holomonsters, using their abilities to shield our world from threats posed by creatures from the Shadow World.

Now, it’s your turn to step into the world of Holomonsters!

MONSTER HUNTING
According to legend, Sharagon, the powerful ruler of the Shadow World, has cursed the Holomonsters, trapping them within everyday human objects like soda cans, cereal boxes, and shampoo bottles. It’s your mission to free them by searching and collecting!

  1. Place your hologram cone on your phone screen and start your monster hunting adventure at home by scanning any QR or barcodes you find.
  2. Tap to open the scanner, point it at a QR or barcode, and hold your phone steady while the code is read. Be mindful of light reflections, as they might interfere with the camera’s focus. Adjust the lighting if needed.
  3. Get ready to uncover Holomonsters, ability gems and epic battles, Let the hunt begin!

MY MONSTERS

In the My Monsters gallery, you can view all the Holomonsters and gems you’ve collected. Tap on a monster to access its profile, where you can level up, evolve, and teach it new abilities using your collected gems.

BATTLES
Prepare for battle! From the main menu, tap the Battle button to enter the world of holographic combat. Choose between Single Player Mode or Player vs Player Mode.

Single Player Mode:
Take on the Shadow Monsters in battle and capture them! Winning battles helps you level up your Holomonsters and earn ability gems.

Duel Battles:
Challenge your friends in 1v1 duels and prove who is the ultimate Holomonster master!

  • Start a duel by scanning the battle QR code on your opponent’s phone screen.
  • Each player selects their monsters for the battle.
  • Let the duel begin!

Important:

  • Duels require a stable internet connection.
  • If you have trouble scanning a QR code, reduce the screen brightness on the device displaying the code.

How to Battle:
Each Holomonster has three attacks: Attack, Defense, and Super Attack.

  • Attacks can only be used once they’re fully charged.
  • Use Battle Gems to boost your monster’s abilities during battles.
  • Leveling up, learning new attacks, and evolving your monsters make them stronger.

Winning:
Defeat Shadow Monsters in three consecutive battles to capture them and add them to your collection!

Losing:
If you lose a battle, your monster will be paralyzed for one hour. Once the time is up, you can use it again!

ABILITY GEMS
These magical items can be obtained by hunting or battling. Ability Gems are the key to powering up your Holomonsters.

Types of Gems and Uses:

  • Hologem Diamonds: Level up your monsters.
  • Attackgem Diamonds: Teach new attacks.
  • Battlegem Diamonds: Boost your monster’s abilities in battle.
  • Evolutiongem Diamonds: Evolve your monster into a stronger HOLO form.

To use a gem, go to the monster's profile and tap the gem icon.

MONSTER EVOLUTIONS

Holomonsters can evolve into stronger HOLO forms once they reach level 5. To evolve a monster, you’ll need three Evolutiongem Diamonds.

Trading Card Game Manual

Game Objective

Defeat five of your opponent's monsters using a combination of your Monster cards and Spell cards in 1v1 card battle. The winner of each round is determined by the combined power points of your Monster and Spell cards. 

Card Types

  1. Monster Cards
    • Each Monster card has one attribute: Power points.
  2. Spell Cards
    • Spell cards add surprise elements to the game and can enhance your monsters' power.
  3. Bluff Card
    • The Bluff card has no effect. Use it to bluff your moves or when you have no other playable cards.
    • The Bluff card always stays in your hand and cannot be discarded.

Deck Rules

  1. Each player uses a deck of 25 cards.
  2. You can only include up to two copies of the same card in your deck.
  3. Customize your deck to suit your strategy.
  4. A recommended deck composition is:
    • 14 Monster cards
    • 10 Spell cards
    • 1 Mandatory Bluff card

How to Play

Game Setup
  1. Both players select their Bluff card and shuffle the remaining cards in their deck.
  2. Each player draws three cards to form their starting hand.
  3. After each round, the Bluff card returns to the player's hand.
Game Flow
  1. Place Monsters:
    • Both players place one Monster card from their hand face down on the table.
    • If you don’t have a Monster card, play your Bluff card instead.
    • Simultaneously reveal the cards by counting down: 3... 2... 1... Reveal!
  2. Play Spells (Optional):
    • After seeing the revealed Monster cards, players can decide to play one Spell card to boost their Monster.
    • Place the Spell card face down on the table, or use the Bluff card if you don’t want to or can’t play a Spell card.
    • Reveal the Spell cards simultaneously with a countdown: 3... 2... 1... Reveal!
  3. Calculate Scores:
    • Apply the effects of the Spell cards, then add the power points of the Monster and Spell cards.
    • The player with the higher total power wins the round and scores 1 point.
    • If the scores are tied, no points are awarded.
  4. Discard Used Cards:
    • Place all used Monster and Spell cards in the discard pile.
    • The Bluff card always returns to your hand.
  5. Draw New Cards:
    • At the start of each new round, both players draw two cards from their deck.
  6. Repeat & Win: Repeat these steps until one player wins five rounds.

Special Rules

  1. No Monsters in Starting Hand:
    • If your starting hand contains no Monster cards, you may shuffle your hand back into your deck and draw a new hand.
  2. Spell Card Restrictions:
    • Some Spell cards can only be used with specific Monsters. If the named Monster is not on the field, you cannot play that Spell card.
  3. No Monster to Play:
    • If you cannot play a Monster card during a round (except the first round), your opponent automatically wins the round.
  4. Multiple Monsters:
    • When a player has multiple Monsters on the field, their power points are added together.
  5. Bluff Cards:
    • Bluff cards cannot be discarded under any circumstances.
  6. Empty Deck:
    • If your deck runs out of cards, you must continue the game with only the cards in your hand.

Optional Variations

  • Adjust the number of rounds for a longer or shorter game.
  • Experiment with different deck compositions to create new strategies and challenges.
